Privacy Policy for Unconditional

UNCONDITIONAL.AI PTY LTD ("we," "us," or "our") operates the Unconditional mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your information when you use our App.
1. Information We Collect
Information You Provide
- Account Information: Email address when you create an account
- Display Name: The name you choose to be called during sessions
- Voice Conversations: Audio from your voice sessions (see Audio Recording section below)
- Session Transcripts: Text transcripts of your conversations with the AI companion
- Feedback: Ratings (thumbs up/down) and notes you provide on AI responses
Audio Recording
- When Private Mode is disabled, session audio may be recorded and uploaded
- Audio is uploaded either with your per-session consent, or automatically if your training program includes pre-consented audio sharing
- When Private Mode is enabled, audio is never recorded
- You can enable Private Mode at any time during a session
Information Collected Automatically
- Device Information: Device model, iOS version, app version, and a device identifier (only sent with your explicit consent)
- Session Metadata: Session timestamps, duration, and which training modules you used
- Diagnostics: Error logs and crash reports (only with your explicit consent)
Information We Do Not Collect
- Location Data: We do not collect GPS, city, or any location information
- Contacts: We do not access your contacts
- Photos or Camera: We do not access your camera or photo library
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Provide the voice AI companion experience
- Store your session transcripts for your personal review
- Track your progress through training modules
- Respond to your support requests
- Analyze app performance and fix issues (with your consent)
- Improve our AI models and training content
- Administer your program enrollment
3. Third-Party Service Providers
We use the following third-party services to operate the App:

Note: We do not use any third-party analytics tools (like Mixpanel, Firebase Analytics, or Google Analytics). We use only internal analytics.
4. Data Retention
- Session transcripts and audio: Retained indefinitely until you delete your account
- Error logs: Retained indefinitely for debugging purposes
- Account information: Retained until you delete your account
You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting support@unconditional.ai.
5. Your Privacy Controls
Private Mode
Enable this for sessions where no data is saved. When Private Mode is enabled:
- Voice audio is never recorded
- Session transcripts are not saved (visible during session only, then discarded)
- No session data is uploaded to our servers
- Parts tracking data is not sent
- Once enabled during a session, that session remains fully private
Audio Sharing
- If your program has audio sharing pre-consented (via your enrollment agreement), audio is uploaded automatically after sessions
- If not, you will be prompted after each session to share your audio
- Private Mode always overrides program settings - you can always choose privacy
Diagnostics Consent
You choose whether to share error logs and diagnostics. This is asked when you first use the app (unless your program has already obtained consent via enrollment).
Account Deletion
Contact support@unconditional.ai to delete your account and all associated data.
Data Export
Data export is not currently available in the app. Contact us if you need a copy of your data.
6. Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information, including:
- Encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS)
- Secure authentication via Supabase Auth
- Row-level security in our database
- Access controls limiting who can view your data
- No exempt encryption - we use only standard HTTPS
7. Children's Privacy
The App is intended for adults aged 18 and older only. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18 years of age.
8. International Data Transfers
Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own, including:
- United States (Anthropic, Deepgram, Inworld AI, Render, Supabase)
- Australia (our company location)
We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for such transfers.
9. Your Rights
For All Users
You have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate information
- Delete your personal information
- Withdraw consent for optional data collection (diagnostics, audio sharing)
For European Users (GDPR)
If you are in the European Economic Area, you also have the right to:
- Object to or restrict processing
- Data portability
- Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority
For California Users (CCPA)
If you are a California resident, you have the right to:
- Know what personal information we collect and how it is used
- Request deletion of your personal information
- Non-discrimination for exercising your privacy rights
We do not sell your personal information.

10. Do Not Track
The App does not respond to Do Not Track signals because we do not track users across third-party websites.
11. Third-Party Links
The App may contain links to crisis resources or other external websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third-party sites.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by:
- Posting the new policy in the App
- Sending you an email notification
Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
